Mt Airy Trail Fest Nature Hike
This hike introduces you to the diversity of native flora and fauna found within Mt. Airy. We will check out some of the areas where Cinci Parks Conservation & Land Mgmt team and partners have worked to restore the forest and discuss some of the challenges we face dealing with invasive species.

About the event
Wear comfortable, sturdy footwear (closed toe shoes or boots) and feel free to bring a walking stick if you like. Some of the terrain is uneven and there is one steep climb (the connector trail behind Oak Ridge Lodge).
Please plan to arrive early to park and arrive for the hike promptly at 2:30. This is expected to be a well -attended event with lots of activities for the whole family so we hope you will stay to enjoy the festival after your hike (Trail Fest runs from 11-4).

*Note: Beginners Pace is 1+ mph, Intermediate is 2+ mph, Speedy 3+ mph, or Runners 4+ mph.
Where dogs are permitted they must be leashed and kept under the owners control.
