About the event
Trail Hawks! Let's go hike and then check out the creek at California Woods. We'll hike the Junction Trail and then visit the creek afterwards. The trail starts off with a short, steep uphill climb, then moseys down the rest of the way. I consider it to be an easy trail, even though that first climb does get my heart pumping! Trail Hawks is for kids 8-17 years old. My kiddo is 9. He will certainly be soaking wet after the creek time, so we'll have an extra set of clothes in the car for him to change into afterwards, but you should do what works for you! You're encouraged to bring a trash bag so we can pick up any trash we see along the way. We will also probably bring a lunch and plan to eat it creekside after our hike. More is always merrier!
