This hike is a twofer! First, we will hike 2.5 miles at Timberman Ridge Metropark, then we will drive a half a mile to Forest Run Metropark for an additional 2 mile hike. Afterwards we will celebrate our walk at Stone Tavern, a restored English-style pub in Hamilton, Ohio.

Daytime Winter Walks and Watering Holes series!
This hike is a twofer! First we will hike 2.5 miles at Timberman Ridge Metropark. Timberman Ridge is former farmland, which is currently being restored to a natural landscape. Rehabilitation efforts include the restoration of grasslands, prairies, woodlands, wetlands, a stream corridor, bottom-land floodplain, and cold water springs. Then we will drive a half a mile to Forest Run Metropark for an additional 2 mile hike. Afterwards we will celebrate our walk at Stone Tavern, a restored English-style pub in Hamilton, Ohio, offering craft beer, cocktails, and hearty food like fish and chips and shepherd’s pie in a historic North End building.
