Meeting Place: We will meet at the shelter/restrooms across from the park entrance road .

Mileage: 1.5 to 2 miles

Trail Rating (easy, moderate, hard): Easy

Dogs allowed: No

Other notes including trail conditions or equipment recommended: Please always remember to bring water and wear appropriate footwear for your hike. If you have binoculars, bring them along. If not, there will be some available to borrow.  Please dress appropriately for the weather, including sturdy footwear, and have insect repellent and sunscreen. This trip will be canceled for heavy rain, thunder and lightning.

Your guide will be Kathi Hutton, a resident of the Cincinnati area for 35 years. Kathi started birding when she identified her first White-crowned Sparrow in her backyard in 1994. She currently has a Life List of 430 species in North America, 325 in Ohio, and over 500 species worldwide.

*Note: Beginners Pace is 1+ mph, Intermediate is 2+ mph, Speedy 3+ mph, or Runners 4+ mph.

Where dogs are permitted they must be leashed and kept under the owners control.

Please RSVP accordingly. If you can no longer attend a Cincy Hikes event, please change your status. If you are running late, you must message your Trail Leader to let them know.

Please bring a mask for when you cannot Socially Distance responsibly.
