Cincinnati Hikes Kids Winter Break Outside Series

Cincinnati Hikes and the Cincinnati Observatory are teaming up to bring you a kids constellation program as part of our Winter Break Outside Series. Join us at the Cincinnati Observatory to learn about the constellations, see the stars, and do a fun craft. While the program is designed for school age kiddos, all ages are welcome. Attendance is limited to 25 so please be sure to RSVP and cancel your RSVP if you are no longer able to attend.

Other notes including trail conditions or equipment recommended?: Please always remember to bring water and wear proper shoes to your hike. All participants will be asked to wear masks while indoors. Wear layers as we'll be inside for part of the program and outside for part of the program. Of course, viewing through the telescope is dependent on clear skies but the program will take place regardless.   Finally, there's typically a charge for these programs, so please come ready to show your appreciation with a donation if you can.

*Note: Beginners Pace is 1+ mph, Intermediate is 2+ mph, Speedy 3+ mph, or Runners 4+ mph.

Where dogs are permitted they must be leashed and kept under the owners control.

Please rsvp accordingly. If you can no longer attend a Cincy Hike, please change your status by replying to your RSVP email or filling out a contact form on the website. You can communicate that you’re running behind via the same methods or you can write on the wall of the Facebook event.

Please bring a mask for when you cannot Socially Distance responsibly.
