Highland Cemetery

The Highland cemetery trail is a wonderful moderate hike that I love to share with people! Lots of interesting features including a stream, remnants of a dairy farm, cool mushrooms, a giant wreath which is a great photo op, and a Batman trail the hike will be approximately to 3 to 3 1/2 miles.

Bring water and a snack and your energy!

Meeting Place: Trailhead within the cemetery. I will include a map that should help to get to the parking lot

Dogs allowed?: Yes

Other notes including trail conditions or equipment recommended?: Please always remember to bring water and wear proper shoes to your hike. To get to the trailhead enter the Highland cemetery off of Dixie highway in Fort mitchell. It is across from kroger. But there is another cemetery next door so be sure to go into the entrance closest to the interstate. As you go into the cemetery keep making right turns and pass a pond on the right. The pond has a very large tree that has fallen in. The trailhead is down the road a little bit on the left. If all the parking spots are full you can park on the street but not in the grass.

*Note: Beginners Pace is 1+ mph, Intermediate is 2+ mph, Speedy 3+ mph, or Runners 4+ mph.

Where dogs are permitted they must be leashed and kept under the owners control.

Please rsvp accordingly. If you can no longer attend a Cincy Hike, please change your status. If you are running late, you must message your Trail Leader to let them know.

Please bring a mask for when you cannot Socially Distance responsibly.
