Cincinnati Hikes Germantown Metro Park with Sherry Redwine

We’ll be hiking the Germantown Metro Park, I’ve seen a number of post about this park and can’t wait to check to out!

Trail: Orange and Possibly Yellow

Meeting Place: At the Twin Valley Welcome Center

Mileage: 9 for the Orange and 2.3 for the Yellow Trail

Pace (See notes): Beginner

Trail Rating (easy, moderate, hard): Moderate

Dogs allowed?: Yes

Other notes including trail conditions or equipment recommended?: Depending on if it rains, I would suggest trekking poles, hiking shoes, water and snacks. I would suggest packing a lunch. We can go out for dinner and liquid refreshment afterwards.

*Note: Beginners Pace is 1+ mph, Intermediate is 2+ mph, Speedy 3+ mph, or Runners 4+ mph.

Where dogs are permitted they must be leashed and kept under the owners control.
