Tue, Nov 23
|Smale Riverfront Park
We are giving back to Cincinnati for the beautiful park that has been given to us! It will be at work out no doubt and lots of climbing on rocks to pick up trash between Smale Park & the river. Jennifer and I are excited about this because it's a great opportunity to beautify a great space!

Trail Leader Name: Amy Mets & Jennifer Fulks
Date: 11/23/2021
Time: 4:00 PM
Location: Smale Park Riverfront
Trail: Smale Park
Meeting Place: There is a giant piano that you can step on west of the Roebling bridge that we can meet at. I will probably be wearing a baseball hat!
Mileage: 1 miles
Pace (See notes): Beginners
Trail Rating (easy, moderate, hard): Moderate
Dogs allowed?: No
Other notes including trail conditions or equipment recommended?: Please always remember to bring water and wear proper shoes to your hike. I will try to bring some buckets to facilitate the trash pickup but if you have any grabber/pickers that would be helpful. Also any bags that you want to reuse for trash bags.... usually the thicker the better. And I think smaller is better. I like the ones that I get from Kroger clicklist orders that have handles and are very sturdy. I will bring some bigger bags for big pieces of Styrofoam. If you have gloves please bring some but I will bring various types of gloves between disposable and reusable. Also bring some water. I'm looking forward to this event to meet more hikers who don't mind getting a lil trashy!
*Note: Beginners Pace is 1+ mph, Intermediate is 2+ mph, Speedy 3+ mph, or Runners 4+ mph.
Where dogs are permitted they must be leashed and kept under the owners control.
