We'll be exploring the far reaches of the nature center and (hopefully) taking in some fall colors! This is a longer hike with some fun creek crossings and some great hills! If you're trying to fill out your Hike for Health passport yet, this hike will get you two trails in one day!

About the event

We'll be exploring the far reaches of the nature center and (hopefully) taking in some fall colors!  This is a longer hike with some fun creek crossings and some great hills!  If you're trying to fill out your Hike for Health passport yet, this hike will get you two trails in one day!  Dogs are welcome!

Meeting Place: Meet at the Backyard Habitat garden to the left of the visitor center.  Look for the lady with a small black dog and a small white dog!

Mileage: 3.5 miles

Pace (See notes): Intermediate

Trail Rating (easy, moderate, hard): Hard

Dogs allowed?: Yes

Other notes including trail conditions or equipment recommended?: Please always remember to bring water and wear proper shoes to your hike. This trail is rated difficult due to length of trail, incline changes, and creek crossings!  Be sure to wear appropriate hiking footwear and bring hiking sticks if you use them.  CNC charges for entry if not a member. https://www.cincynature.org/.../hours-admission-and.../ for more info!

*Note: Beginners Pace is 1+ mph, Intermediate is 2+ mph, Speedy 3+ mph, or Runners 4+ mph.

Where dogs are permitted they must be leashed and kept under the owners control.

Please rsvp accordingly. If you can no longer attend a Cincy Hike, please change your status. If you are running late, you must message your Trail Leader to let them know.

Please bring a mask for when you cannot Socially Distance responsibly.
