Have you been wanting to check out Long Branch farm but don't have a CNC membership? Then this is the hike for you! Come check out the native plant sale where nonmembers can enter for free, then join us for a 4 mile hike. Long Branch Farm spans 758 acres of forest and farmland, with trails that wind through Eastern deciduous forests, fields, streams, and past ponds and wetlands. Watch how your GPS sends you, I believe you must enter via the Gaynor road entrance. Tell them you are a nonmember attending the native plant sale which starts at 9. (and then make sure you check out the sale!)
I would suggest bringing hiking poles, bug spray and water. Most creek crossings are dry, but if there has been rain you may get your feet wet or muddy.
